“I’ve had a home in Lourinhã for 20 years and I have a deep affection for this region. My sister also ended up falling in love with Lourinhã. In 2017, we opened Areal Beach Bar by Chakall, just nearby at Praia do Areal Sul—a beach bar and restaurant. At a certain point, we felt there was a need for a project with a different positioning. But the ideal location was still missing.”
